The Kogelberg Biosphere Wildlife Rescue and Training Centre treats injured and displaced birds, mammals, and reptiles from the Kogelberg Biosphere and the wider Overberg, and aims to release them [MS]. In December 2024 it became the first permitted wildlife rescue centre in the Western Cape [MS]. In 2025 Grace Valley Wildlife Rescue announced plans to become a permitted satellite rehabilitation centre linked to it [MS].

What it does
The centre has an emergency clinic, recovery and rehabilitation spaces, and flight enclosures [MS]. Common injuries come from wildfires, vehicles, snares, and power lines [MS]. Its pages are published by the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve Company [MS].
How its work reaches the valley
Grace Valley Wildlife Rescue stabilises injured wild animals from the valley before they go to a permitted rehabilitation centre or a vet [MS].
